Sales & Service Assistant


Job Description

We are recruiting a Sales & Service Assistant for our client based in Portlethen.

This is a contract role with an expected duration of 10 - 11 months. There is flexibility to work from home at times when required.

Including but not limited to:

  • Ensure company Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies are adhered to at all times.
  • Supports Service and Sales department with the day-to-day administrative duties such as (but not limited to) filing and scanning.
  • Develops knowledge and understanding of all systems relating to these departments, these currently include CSI10, AMP and Probity.
  • Supports Service and Sales department in moving forward to a digitalised filing system.
  • Assists with physical and electronical file management.
  • Supports the service team with equipment on/off-hire requirements in rental asset management programme.
  • Supports the service team with production of certification through our in-house Asset Management Programme.
  • Answers incoming service and sales telephone calls and redirects these calls accordingly.
  • Liaises closely with the Sales & Service coordinators, providing support and cover during periods of holidays or absence.
  • Works as an effective team player

Desired Qualities / Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Previous administrative experience advantageous but not required.

Language Skills:

Good communicator with the ability to effectively present information in written and electronic format to the highest standard.

Computer Skills:

Good IT skills essential with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in Excel and basic spreadsheets advantageous.

Work Environment:

Ability to work on own initiative at all times. Flexible and responsive to internal and external customers
