We are recruiting Senior Process Engineers for our client in Aberdeen.

These are full time, staff roles.

You will be responsible for executing discipline engineering activities in alignment with company integrated brownfield offering within budget and schedule whilst ensuring technical integrity is maintained. Reporting directly to the Lead or Principal Engineer, this role is critical to our success as we evolve into one of the leading EPC contractors in the market.

day to day focus of team

• Ensure that assigned work is compliant to agreed budget and schedule
• Production of discipline deliverables and input to multidiscipline deliverables
• Maintain project plan and provide progress updates for assigned scopes
• Maintain project scope/schedule change(s) in accordance with project change control process (as required in conjunction with Lead or Principal Engineer)
• Ensure compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes and procedures
• Estimate/schedule preparation & approval and electronic submission via digital eco-system
• Participate as design engineer (or as independent engineer where applicable) in various engineering review meetings such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL Assessment etc
• Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process

Desired Qualities / Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it
• Detailed Design experience
• Prior experience on brownfield services contracts
• Excellent communication skills
• Experienced Engineer with sound technical background and expertise
• Experienced in the use of, applicable codes, practices, standards, and statutory documentation
• Competent in quality control and engineering procedures
• Competent in aspects of discipline design (including multi-discipline) and use of process simulation packages
• Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and self-discipline
• Delivery focused and committed to achievement of project/company goals
