Senior Quality Engineer / Advisor
Job Description
We are recruiting a Senior Quality Engineer / Advisor for our client in Aberdeen.
This is a full time, staff position.
The main job purpose is providing Quality Assurance and support and advice to the contract. The SQE must have experience of leading projects through the design, procurement construction and commissioning phases. The SQE must have experience of delivering through EPC’s. The position will be located in Aberdeen city centre.

- Custodian of relevant Project Quality Plans throughout the Project Lifecycle.
- Work closely with the EPC ensuring Quality is delivered effectively and as per the contract.
- Ensure compliance with the Specifications, Standards and Codes applicable to the Project.
- Ensuring that Quality Risks are identified, along with providing and managing mitigating actions.
- Ensuring Quality issues are reported, highlighted, and addressed to satisfactory closure.
- Implement and be custodian of the Contract Quality Audit program.
- Oversee any 3rd Party IVB contract
- Maintain Quality Awareness across the contract team.
AUTHORITY
- Stop work if not in compliance with HSE standards. Including intervening if observe any breach of specific project procedures.
- Challenge the norm and how things are done to deliver better results for all stakeholders.
- Request information necessary to perform the task as efficiently as possible.

- Participate in annual and regular performance appraisal with relevant supervisor and/or manager, identifying and agreeing objectives and targets in relation to personal development.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Comply with and support the Business Management System within own scope of responsibilities and within the Company as a whole.
- Responsible for developing, modifying, and adhering to procedures and / or processes to support the System and its applications within own area of responsibilities.

1.Engineering, Fabrication & Welding Experience
2.Must have good working knowledge of industry codes and standards.
Preferred
3.Construction Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
4.ISO 9001 QMS Auditor Certificate.
